  • Spyros Makridakis - professor at the University of Nicosia, director of the Institute For the Future (IFF); founder of the Makridakis Open Forecasting Center (MOFC)
  • Edouard Thieuleux - founder of AbcSupplyChain

From the description:

How can excellence in demand forecasting be achieved? Data science and machine learning can be key when it comes to avoiding supply chain pitfalls and roadblocks. This webinar discusses the general issues and challenges of demand forecasting. The panelists have extensive professional experience in this area, providing insights into best practices (process, models) and discussing how data science and machine learning impact those forecasts.

Prof. Makridakis will share findings/insights from 2020's M5 Forecasting Competition, and give us a preview of the upcoming M6 and how it will differ from past competitions.

We welcome your active participation, and will be holding 20 minutes for questions from the audience.
